SPOILER WARNING for Inkerton lore, but there's some dialogue from Konche if you talk to him in Flotsam Vale. (After the first fight with Inkerton)
Konche: A poor squid born in lower crust... I knew his family back then. Good folks, I say. True lovers of history! Brought their children to my museum often. And then, for their lives to end in such a tragedy, like so much of history itself.
Kril: So what happened to Inkerton's family?
Konche: Oh, they died. I really thought that subtext was obvious, i say.
Kril: Yeah, but like... N-nevermind...
Konche: I couldn't tell you what happened to the boy after that. After all, he never visited my museum again! But at some point, he began showing up by Roland's side... They've been joined at the fin for quite some time now.
Konche: And he doesn't flinch when ordered to hurt those who used to be his neighbours.
Konche: I'd avoid another direct conflict with him if I were you, child. The blood runs cold in that squids veins, I say.
Here's a link with a timestamp if you'd like to read it yourself! Hope this answers your question a little bit. https://youtu.be/6oqncBiC6kk?si=16b43KBqzn__nkYk&t=804
