Of course, some people just don't like the combat loop of souls games. That's fine, not everyone has to like all the same things I do.
ACT is honestly a really easy souls game (albeit a little front-loaded in difficulty), and there is an extensive cheats section. If people are getting completely stuck on some segment and just give up and refuse to go on, well that's completely a problem with them in that case. There are easy ways to resolve these issues.
It is just the NG+ platforming/level design that has been kicking my ass, and I am absolutely here for it
