Thoughts on "Build"?
Hey, just recently started this game and have an amazing time with it, and just wanted some people's thoughts on my current build and my current shell option.

VIT: 5
RES: 6
ATT: 15
MSG: 0

Favorite Shell: Coffee Mug (Spell: Attack Faster for a short time)

I just recently did the 1st major boss finding the Treasure Map and did the optional boss in the same area.

I'm sure later I will come upon different and better shells but I really like the Coffee Mug due to the faster attack especially when I'm using my fork as a hammer. I'm using the Sinker+ as one of my stowaways and its balance increase is absolutely insane with a full heavy charge.

Give me your ideas / thoughts!

I prefer the red solo cup.
Drunken claw Attack Power increase plus charged heavy with fork hammer does stupid damage, and increases parry/riposte damage

Your build is fine, for now, a bit glass cannon for my tastes.

I'll have to give the Red Solo Cup a try & see how I like it. I just happen to like the faster swings while bonking specifically on those annoying archer crabs.

When I first started playing souls-like games I always went for the higher health at the start but as I've gotten more experienced I go for the higher damage to rely better on my reflexes and move set knowledge & put some health in later if I feel I'm getting too overwhelmed.

Finished the game today a long with 100% Achievements with my Final Build was;

VIT: 10
RES: 20
ATT: 30
MSG: 3

Favorite Shell: Coffee Mug (Morning Buzz!) // Knight Helmet (Juggernaut)
Stowaways: SInker+ / Sinker+ / Lamprey+ (70% Balance Increase + 7% Life Drain)
Favorite Adaptation: Tactical Tentacle (At LVL3 lasts longer & gives health on hit)

By the end game I was able to pretty much just tank hits while trading with the bosses and massively building balance and regaining health.

I had a similar build with a different edge;

VIT: 10
RES: 15
ATT: 30
MSG: 8

Shell: Red Solo Cup
Stowaways: Cockle+ / Cockle / Lug Nut
Adaptation: Eelectrocute (Keeps them in place for a bit, lasts a good while)

Most normal mobs die in one hit with this, with exceptions for the larger ones. It takes some clever use of parry to really get the best use out of it though, especially against bosses, but it hits like a truck. Didn't really play around to see if charged hits was more worth it for me over raw hammer damage.

I'm currently building evenly. I think all my stats are 6 or 7. It seems to work fine. I do a lot of damage and I can take a lot of hits. Might be a struggle later idk.
