ultimately decide for youreself, i personaly maxed out atk and felt it made combat go by alot faster wich can also be bad because of how umami gain works.
(small spoiler) if you know about upgrading the fork, that seems to increase atk by 5 on its own.
Levels seem to be linear so early points are always going to be relatively more significant but you can eventually hit like a truck if you build for it. Especially if you're playing around parries and taking advantage of extra damage after blocking.
res makes your hammer more durable
i have 15 res (could have done with just 10 i think) and the dark souls helmet as a hammer simply never breaks lol
I had about 10 on vit so i could equip the light fish in the abyss since i didn't want to keep spamming the lightbulb ability down there though I now wish I could refund those points as its only for one section.
the rest was in atk.
Oh that's some good points, i somehow didn't think shell health from res would make hammer more durable so i just put it in msg for no reason. Btw you can refund the points for a shark egg in the levelupscreen. It's the little recycling symbol.
Is the bobbit worm, really that good?
It's ridiculously good.
