It is of absolutely no concern to anyone, how someone else plays an offline single player game.

More games and developers need to build in accessibility options into their games for those that want it.

The only time how someone plays a game affects you is an online environment or mode.

Some people are turned off by the difficulty souls players are used to, others are physically incapable of adapting to it due to a number reasons. I don't see why having an option to make the game accessible to a wider spectrum is somehow a bad thing...

If it game at the cost of the "soulslike" experience for all, I'd get it, but it doesn't.
