Your lack of restraint and inability to help yourself is nobody else's concern but yours.
You do not have to use these features, not once. They are there for people that want them.
It is of absolutely no concern to anyone, how someone else plays an offline single player game.
More games and developers need to build in accessibility options into their games for those that want it.
The only time how someone plays a game affects you is an online environment or mode.
If it game at the cost of the "soulslike" experience for all, I'd get it, but it doesn't.
It's there for people that want an easier game.
