BUYING HOME SHELL

Can someone smarter than me and knows how to mess with the files help me get the amount it money it takes to buy your shell from the prawn. I think it would be really interesting to see what happens.

This made me curious. And since I was about to wipe my save and take a break until they fix the umami crystal increase bug, I figured why not, lets give it a try. Nothing too interesting happened immediately, but I got a cool screenshot of me wearing my home shell while the prawn also has it on his back. But I don't know, maybe something entertaining happens if you try to progress. I'm not far into the game and I don't want to spoil things, so I'm not willing to go that far. But I will say that if someone who has already beat the game wants to goof around and test it more, it was incredibly easy. A very basic understanding of that engine made for cheating will get it done easily

nothing happens. the game isn't made for you to do it. it does not acknowledge you did.

Hey I don't know if you found the answer but in case you didn't you can edit your save file by finding it at C:\Users (YourUser)\AppData\LocalLow\Aggro Crab\Another Crabs Treasure
Then you have to find the folder titled save and the number of the slot you chose
There is a .crab file which can be edited with notepad
In notepad press crtl+F to search and type wallet
Then it should show "wallet\":{\"UmamiCrystals\":(a number),\"clips\":(a number)}
The second "a number" are your micro plastics and it can be changed to what ever number you type just make sure to save as

tried it with cheat engine, max microplastics I can get is 999,999,552

Edit: if put 1,000,001,000 as microplasics in save u can buy shell

Very cool! Feels like free DLC getting back into your home shell. Now I just need to find a way to parkour back to the home area.
