I know what reviews are, there are plenty of content creators that cover the genre as a whole. asm outside of the odd game covets mainly wow or just react to vids from other creators. Me and others like myself could care less for his view/opinion on the genre.

I wouldn't demean others for enjoying content creators like Asmongold but when they try to act like we should actually care about what they say or play I start to get annoyed.

There are plenty of people whose opinions I have far more respect for but none of them are getting topics made on them. Besides the attention they give can be annoying - I remember when Asmongold tried FF14 and suddenly the servers he played on became well... unplayable. The game saw a (minor) boost in popularity and now his stint there is all but forgotten except by the people he inconvenienced.

For the record this isn't specific to him - I get annoyed easily when people treat any sort of celebrity or psuedo-celebrity as having any kind of inherit value more than anyone else.
