How Difficult is this Game?

I see that this game is described as a "Souls-like" and I'm wondering what that means.
Does that describe the structure of the game, with a bonfire equivalent etc, or does it describe the difficulty level? I enjoy a good challenge, and I've played DS1 and Elden Ring, but I'm not sure if I'm really in the mood if this is a more frustration based game.
What do you think?

It's a good entry for the newbie for the player who wants to venture on soul-like a genre, it's challenging enough but of course not on a level of a dark souls difficulty if you ask me also it's relaxing to play and it' fun.

Its quite easy if you're familiar with the genre.
If you have a thing for exploring every nook and cranny, you'll most likely find a particular adaptation that completely removes any semblance of challenge from the game.

Souls-like in terms of structure and core combat mechanics. It's definitely easier compared to other entries in the genre, but you'll still need to pay attention to the game mechanics. Except the last boss, that guy took some actual effort.
