Steam deck performance in later areas

Hey,
I wondered if it was an issue with my steam deck, but the game has massive freezes once I reached the area with lots of poisons. The game will run at like 0-1 fps for like a minute. and the deck's fan will stop spinning for a while.

Other areas are fine, so it feels more like an issue with the area. I tried putting everything on low settings but I still have the issue.

yeah im having similar issues i think? my laptop will just play the game at like 2-3 fps for a minute or two until it gets back to normal.
i wonder if its tripping some sort of power saving mode

My Deck sounds like a jet engine nonstop while playing. Even with resolution at 640p and mid settings lol

is it fixed? i want to get the game to play on deck but the performance worries me

I don't know what later areas really means, but I loaded up the current version and ran around Flotsam Vale, Unfathom, and Old Ocean for like 15 mins and maintaining 60 fps on Low didn't seem to be an issue. Maybe the patches fixed it and/or it's because I'm on SteamOS Preview with newer drivers.
