What to do with the small, non-bobbit x's?
I feel like I've tried every shell and stowaway, but I can't figure out if you're supposed to dig these up or if they're just nothing.
I'm 18 crystals down (2 in grove and 16 in sands ) and these things are driving me crazy.

I'm pretty sure there are just items in those. The crystals might be in random enemies. If it's only 2 for example, look for a smaller enemy with the purple eyes.

Oooooh, you can aim you fishing line thing (LT on controllers) at them. Some just don't have items. You might have to get the skill that lets you do the fishing move on enemies.

ahh thank you!! I'm at 1400/1400 now :D
i'm still missing 15 on sands between, but i have 15 over maximum in flotsam vale because the boss respawned. I'll count it.
