difficulty is there but idk i didnt get far
IF YOU hate it, there are accessibility options to make hte game easier
reduce enemy health / reduce their damage / increase durability of your shell and a lot more
so even if its hard for u u cna still change it and vibe with it
theres also a thing that makes u one shot bosses ifu h ate them
This game is *not* a pushover. If it's easier, it's close. I think it's as hard or slightly harder than the first half of DS3 - definitely harder than elden ring. To call this game "easy" is to be out of touch with what non-souls games are like. By the standards of other games, this is insanely hard. By the standards of dark souls, it's about normal, what you'd expect.
If you enjoy the difficulty of fromsoft games, you will not be disappointed - easier or harder, it's going to be close, if nothing else. It's very similar.
Being able to make a nuke build isn't something unfamiliar to FromSoft either. If you figure out a way to delete everything without it touching you, in this or in any other soulslike, then your commentary on difficulty isn't very meaningful.
The big difference in difficulty, is this game gives a variety of "accessibility options". It's explicitly not how it was designed to be played, but available for those who don't find the default difficulty fun. One of the options gives your character a gun.
i'm talking about if you play it straight - level ATK and VIT, play by dodging and maybe parrying, do it the "normal" way - and this game is quite tough.
By the time you're 50-75% of the way through the game, if you're good with your stowaways, skill tree, and have upgraded adaptations, you can absolutely annihilate most of the later bosses - 2 or 3 attempts maximum. But if you *really* want more difficulty you could try fighting without a hammer/stowaways/adaptation usage/shell spells/etc..
I'm a big fan of all the Soulsborne games, and I think overall the bosses felt a bit easier, but I still had a ton of fun throughout. Really hope there'll be a NG+ and/or DLC.
