its supposedly 20 to 30h and while friendly has plenty of adult humor as well, its a decent challenge as well!

I think it's a good game for adults too. Sure's it's got a kiddy aesthetic, but I think it adds to its charm and sets itself apart from the mostly drab and depressing worlds of soulsborne games. Plus it's got humor that only adults will understand, like taxes lol.

It is for adults but get this. My inflexible brain wasted 10 mins trying to fight the first ambush of crabs when the attack option was not even activated by the game. I disconnected my controller thinking my RB button is broken. Then I remapped the attack option to X. Didn't work. Disconnected the damn controller and used keyboard. Didn't work again. Restarted the game thinking it's a bug. Didn't work either. That is when I realized maybe they want me to escape from the ambush and not fight dozens of crabs at once, like any sane individual? So I dipped out of there and voila... they finally activated the attack button when I stood before a lone defenceless crab...

If you hate souls likes, you can basically make it NOT one with the numerous options.

hm, I feel quite the opposite. I think its way more depressing to life in a fake "everything is fine" society. story arc felt very refreshing to me and kept my interest. (which usually never happens)

Saw a playthrough and 50% of my reason to purchase was the lighthearted way this game handles real issues:
- Government being bought by corporate
- Pollution of the ocean
- massive housing crisis
talking to the kids about the stuff they are going to have to handle, but not turning them away with the gravity of the situation.

In no way I bought it because we can praise the Sun of course.

Edit after the comment below: the impaling. Yes, that would be problematic for kids.
