- Add an option to directly equip insured shells when at a moon shell. Right now if you have a shell equipped and want to switch you need to drop your current shell before touching the moon shell, which isn't a huge deal but it feels a bit clunky.
- A training dummy in the hub that we can test the various shell abilities on would be nice.
- Another minor thing, I'm not sure why barbed hooks are consumable rather than infinite? I'm currently sitting on over 100 of the things since they're so cheap to buy and commonly dropped, feels like I'd have to try to run out.
not exactly a trainiing dummy but the rich store in new carcinea (shellfish desire) has a umami swirl just a short distance to the left of the NPC so you can recharge your umami while you try out the abilities
as for your second point. they are limited because you can only actively use so many during fights. Boss fights would be significantly easier if you could freely interrupt their attacks by infinitely spearing them to pull them out of their attack animation.
I know about the swirl, but it'd be nice to be able to check stuff like relative damage and stagger.
Also to clarify I don't mean infinite hooks in the field, I'm fine with the cap there. I'm talking about how you need barbed hooks in your inventory in addition to the charges, despite the fact barbed hooks are so easy to get and you can use so few at a time it's basically impossible to run out.
You can turn off the letterboxing in Settings -> Gameplay -> focus letterboxing :)
Also thank you everyone for the feedback and patience! We have plans to look into the map.
I wish the capsize execution (forgot the name but its the top right skill from the tree if i recall) would instead do a fixed amount of damage to the hammerhead instead of consistently break the hammer.
The attack doesn't do nowhere near enough damage to justify instant breaking some hammers considering how durable they can get and how much more damage you can get out of them from regular swings vs the execution.
I suppose I could have always refunded the skill tree and simply not buy the skill but would be nice if I didn't have to do that...
amazing game though!
