Just finished the game...
I just love unique games, who would have thought that souls-like with cartoon looking underwater creatures would be this good.

I also love how it's their 2nd game, but except some balancement issues towards the end and the boss rush on the very end (I don't think the boss rush was necessary, there were literally you can say 6 bosses after each other), the game is amazing. Also, maybe some more enemy variety would be great, but it's a crab game so I guess I can understand that lol.

Usually souls-likes aren't very well done, especially from someone who doesn't focus on souls-like genre, but NEOWIZ and Aggro Crab, amazing work... Lies of P and Another Crab's Treasure are amazing recent souls-likes from someone who aren't huge multi billion AAA video game company.

I hope there is gonna be either a sequel or expansion because by looking how it ended, I think there definitely could be some kind of continuation to this game.

I've been wanting a soulslike like this for a while now. It felt like to be a soulslike you had to be dark and dreary and depressing. every soulslike is either during a plague that ruined the world or a post apocalypse where everyone is dead or dying, or the land has fallen to rot and decay. I kept asking "what about a light-hearted and happy soulslike? Like if you played a cute fairy fighting giant bugs in a bright forest?" The game has its dark moments but the dialogue coupled with the bright and colorful environment is just proof you can totally have a happy soulslike and I can't wait to see more like it.

It's also interesting that I don't feel any discomfort while playing the game. I have Thalassophobia.

For some reason this game don't trigger it.

I love this one. It's refreshing/silly, but still challenging (for me) and has a decent amount of depth to the mechanics without getting overwhelming.

Elden Ring was my first Soulslike (if you don't count Hollow Knight), but even as a newcomer to the genre, the edgy/goth/post-apocalyptic settings are getting a little tiresome already, haha.

Also as a (former) Spongebob watcher, this takes me back!
