How do i beat the Mad Mall time trial?

I was trying to beat the time trial in Mad Mall, before i entered the elevator my time was 58 seconds, but when i got the completed level screen i had a time of 13 seconds, i still have no idea how the ♥♥♥♥ do negative par times work.

Basically yk how when you completed your level the timer was stagnant, meaning time wasn’t going down? Thats because you had a collection of time boxes that essentially acted as negative time.

You completed the level at 58 seconds, but if you just stood there your timer would have only started up again after 45 seconds, which explains why 45 seconds was subtracted to your timer.

If there is any left over frozen time when you complete the level, it deducts from your final score.

For the next person havi g trouble, you need to break a LOT of the numbered boxes that freeze the timer, and still get a good time (as in, know your way around the blue and green areas)

What was also clutch was:
-leave the boxes above the start for when you return during happy hour

- grab the boxes in the special room with the spray can and collectible junk (blue and yellow area respectively). In the red area’s stairs (i think the room name is “ill check in the back) there’s a sidd route with a number of time crates. It woild be awesome if you could get down there with the hidden car

- you still need a good time, and ive yet to see someone do the par time WITHOUT getting into the vault, so practice getting the vault a few times
