I've only played two levels and i'm loving it but...
The small crates you have to jump on are really finicky and sometimes they don't connect, i i missed like 4 areas because i jumped on them and they also don't respawn and i assume they had secret items or collectibles.

I'm just wondering if i'm missing some sort of movement mechanic when it comes to jumping on those crates

Other than that, the game is awesome, i love how each level has a unique gimmick and keeps building on top of one another until happy hour, and the soundtrack is fantastic although i wish some of the sound effects weren't in the same register sound design wise

Can't wait to play more

If you're familiar with how jumping physics work in traditional Mario or Crash Bandicoot games, you'll find the same springboard effect you get by stomping enemies in those games applies to the crates in Antonblast. You'll bounce higher if you're holding the jump button when you land on a crate or enemy.
