Another Hint Once you've found the wall, there are two steps to getting the answer.
And a third hint The first step of the previous hint involves a synonym for a word in the riddle
Answer: Player
1: star - destroy
2: crown - shoot
3: bull - oxymoron
4: bat - player
5: skull - death
6: dog - rover
7: lyre - here
8: anchor - shallow
and yes #1 is destroy
solution:
"take away their twisted tail"
tail = tale
take away = remove
remove their tale = de-story
then just rearrange the letters in story to get destroy
If you want the carving for #4 it's The bat
As for a hint
The most helpful part of the hint for the solution is the bit with the hand on the keys and one curled vs sticks and buttons. Think about who would be sitting behind a wall relative to the game that those things would relate to.
As for the second one, I've seen it before but after combing through the area for a while I'd appreciate someone narrowing it down!
skull:
warp to bridge (the bridge has to be rebuilt)

then go straight through the area past that door (there is only one way to go)

the skull is on that rock in the direction i am facing
anchor:
warp to seacaves

Thanks for this!! I didn't realize I could step on the spot you're on in your screenshot & was just pacing back & forth looking for another way over. I'm also happy because now I get to listen to Payn's fire bgm again.
I've really been enjoying puzzling them out with my friends (& a couple hints from this thread)!! It's been really fun to stream & put our heads together to try & figure them out!! We've only got #3, #4, & #7 for now, but it's been really fun to keep turning it over. Love y'alls game!! Great work!!!!
They were very fun and well put together! I think as far as game secrets go, they hit the sweet part of being challenging and making you think without being so esoteric you wouldn't be able to do them at all without watching a video or something.
I typed your answer into the scroll and nothing happened and i'd prefer to understand the steps to get to an answer more than just an answer anyway.
It's frustrating to find out i got half of the thing right. You don't get any encouragement for getting half a puzzle right you just give up.
Don't just say it! Where did you get this? How can anyone understand this? Explain it or be quiet.
The dog I believe can be found in the bridge level it's close to the paladins I know remembering where the drawings are can be quite difficult one of them requires backtracking through an area I didn't even realise had more to it. I'll let you have a little fun finding it at least even though I know I had to piece together what people had said in the thread.
I actually admire everyone else that worked hard to figure these out as after a few hours on my own I couldn't figure out what the puzzle was let alone if it wordplay. Making them use a thesaurus of all things and a lot of out of the box thinking makes me pause, if I had spent the time to solve these myself it would have been months before I figured out what I was supposed to do where - I didn't want to make myself dizzy checking every wall so I spared my sanity.
This was probably meant for those who had more time on their hands to understand riddles I only admittedly managed to get one right before concluding that these would be too difficult to solve on my own as I lacked the knowledge of where everything was and for them all to be this "different" made applying logic difficult.
