Ulara Blood Quest?

Thought it was strange Ulara kept asking for something to chat about after finishing her library quest so I thought "What would she want to talk about?". Realizing she was a vampire, I asked her about blood and she gives two very specific lines. One of those lines suggests there is an item hidden in a very specific barrel in her cellar. I went through the barrels but realized I have no way of knowing if there is actually a quest here or just a bit of odd info from an odd person. The fact that every single grouping of blood barrels is labeled suggests something is done with it but with Cryptmaster some things just distract from the main line of progress. So my question is: Is there actually an heirloom to acquire from Ulara or is it just a red herring?

Well... There is indeed an heirloom hidden in one barrel and you'll need to OPEN it. Asking Ulara repeatedly for information might also give you clues to two other barrels containing especially potent blood. Of course, you'll need to DRINK this to feel the full benefit...

I had gone through the barrels saying SEARCH and LOOT because CM did not seem to care much for OPEN. I will go back through and try OPEN again though thanks!

There are additional clues that require you to DRINK she gives hints that's way more than just the heirloom there's actually multiple secrets and YES all of them are different words there are no red herrings, except well the ones in the sea. She had a lot of time on her hands.

I've been able to find the following for figuring out all the barrels you can DRINK. Haven't had much luck beyond these two however... Using INFO, SECRETS, GOSSIP, etc., with Ulara has lead me into a loop of repeating quotes so I feel like I could potentially be missing something if there are multiple to find in the Cellars.

1 - RELATIVES - Unlocks Absinthe potion.
2 - HERMIT - Gives 15(?) Souls; no other noticeable effect(?)

ULARA's BARRELS

Ulara has three barrels in her tower that can be interacted with.


DRINK the FISHERMEN for 100 souls.

DRINK the HERMITS for 150 souls.

OPEN the RELATIVES for the 'Absinthe' recipe.
