Some other easy ways to get mana, higher difficulty card opponents give you 100 souls per win, every skull you guess without the CMs help gives you 60 (30 with help), and there are a few others also.
Joro's Flip, Syn's Pinch and later Purloin
Once I got those skills, I went at areas where ennemies would be very tanky but deal only 1 damage, which allowed me to farm very fast, after 5~6 battles, I could easily be above 800 souls.
And I only have the useful skill of Joro (which makes most fights a break-even re souls) and there are still a few skulls left, but these are the one's that hurt my brain and I don't feel like cheating.
For all my group, I am no further than halfway the third row in memories and skill. I presumed that the rest would be unlocked in a new+ game, but perhaps I should have advanced further?
I am thinking of reducing a bit of the self damage on those other Joro skills to make those a bit more viable, they might be a bit more attractive if people can reliably do more than average damage without losing so much health when using those, optionally rather than doing self damage, draws agro, which might actually be a win for all builds but puts the agro attracting abilities in a weird place.
