Please do proper testing at least before throwing out such claims, the game doesn't use any internet so it can't even be a bitcoin miner. By enabling FPS display you can see that it always tried to render as many frames as possible, requiring so much GPU performance

I've not played the whole game but its not bad , tbh it still has me hiding . Lit it doesn't matter if the main horror character is scary or not it still gets me hiding in those closets etc

This isn't some great conspiracy you are discovering, it is a lack of knowledge on your side. Our game does not establish any network connections and you can easily check that in your task manager. If a developer were to include a crypto miner in their game, why would they develop a game that is finishable in half an hour max? That wouldn't make sense, you would try to have some kind of addictive game loop right? The game is poorly optimized since it comes from inexperienced developers and that is it. There is nothing more to it and you are doing us, the developers, a great disservice by spreading easily disproveable information.
