i think after AKai. Whenever that is I would prefer to see DOJ on Steam. DOJ and Ketsui. SDOJ is not that great. I know heresy in Cave forums but its the truth. I cannot tell you about the arcade version but the XBOX version has really annoying voicework. But then again doesn't DDP RES have the same issues with the boss lines. Thats why I prefer DOJ among other reasons.

Also the whole MAME issue. I think shmup fans are the most loyal fanbase any game developer could wish for. They want to buy everything and they want a constant stream of games all the time. So what if they get to check a few old games via mame. It only makes the games more desirable when they are announced for release on Steam. On the contrary if many of us hadn't discovered these games one way or the other we wouldn't be so excited about it in the forums here.
