how to make hodgepodge?

how do you make bottle of hodgepodge? or where do you find it?

There are many way to make Hodgepodge. Some easy, some difficult. Hodgepodge is the trash result for mixtures, so breaking any of the rules for mixtures (too many essence types, too high potency, etc.) result in Hodgepodge. Putting certain things in the Extractor also creates Hodgepodge.

The mixing rules have changed.

In order to make Hodgepodge, you need to run a mixture through 2 Distillers or 2 Fermenters, so that e.g. one Distiller outputs into another Distiller, and then bottle the result.

Oh really? Was that changed recently cause I thought it was just a week ago that I made it with one distiller, but ok, guess I'll have to build a second (or maybe third) one then. =)

Yes, it was changed in the last patch, but that was almost a month ago now.

If you manage to make Hodgepodge without distilling or fermenting the mixture twice, I would LOVE to know :D

Also, if you find out how you made water, I REALLY need to know, because that's not supposed to be possible anymore xD

I don't think I've had the game for a month, but it's possible =)

I made water with edibles =p
Chantrelles plus.....forgot what it was again....(started the game again now just to check) but yeah I just tried now and made it with the beetles which I didn't think would work.

Edit: I've actually never had more than one distiller, but unfortunately I exported all my Hodgepodge back then cause I didn't think it had any use)

Second Edit: I bought the game the 26:th of November and I've made Hodgepodge with 1 Distiller, haven't unlocked anything after the Distiller either so yeah, I don't know =)

YOu are correct. Water is useless in the game.

This is how I'm making water =) (order might be messed up here but still)

The second screenshot is obscured, but if I'm guessing correctly, you're putting Chanterelles into one Extractor, Strawberries into a second Extractor, and having both of those input into a Distiller, which then makes Water(?)

UPDATE: Yes, apparently, if you mix two Hodgepodge mixtures, that were both made without Ingredients, it produces Water. Thank you for this crucial bit of information! <3 This will be fixed.

but I can't make hodgepodge with one distiller anyway which is what this thread was about.
So do I have to have a distiller with 2 intakes linking to another distiller with one intake plus the stuff from the first distiller?

Yes, that is the intended way to make Hodgepodge. That, or run a Mixture through 2 Fermenters.

If I'm not mistaken, in the current live build, you can make Hodgepodge without a Distiller, simply by putting any Edible into an Extractor and bottling the result.
