Perfect Mixtures Currently Impossible?

So I've done a fair bit of experimentation so far and I can't seem to find a perfect mixture recipe for any potion. Some of them, such as Mana, don't even have their Optimal Ingredient yet, as none of the 5 currently available count as the Optimal Ingredient.

Just wanted to confirm that I'm not the only one unable to get a perfect mixture, or if I'm missing something that would solve this. Thank you.

I was wondering the same thing. It's also not clear to me if all the ingredients are already integrated into the game. I also had no success in creating a balanced flavor with the existing ingredients

Balanced Flavor is doable. I ended up using Strength Potions to work on this with the formula: Cloud Shroom, Gusto Grub, Life Lemon.

Note that the UI is bugged and the Shroompedia will not list that you have unlocked a balanced flavor unless you've moused over a potion with that, in which case the shroompedia will update that you have found it.

It requires unlocking both the flavouriser and the fermenter.

Flavouriser is by far the worst, because you need to craft five *hundred* balanced potions to do so.. which means you need to have sweet, savoury, and earthy flavours.
There's only two Sweet ingredients, GoGo berries (unstable) and life fruit (These things seem to be so unlikely to spawn that they are a non-starter)
Simplest way seems to be to dredge all the gloom blooms in the old forest, looking for butterflies (White Knight).
Mix them in with gogo berries and anything earthy (as long as it's stable).

Fermenter is annoying, but you get the ingredients far quicker - the only catch is that the only thing that works is Klaphat samples, Dream Sacs, and any 2 potency ingredient.
500 of all of them.

From there, into an advanced distiller:
God wheat
White Knight
Klaphat Sample (Flavourised: Sweet (honey / apples are easiest))

Finally, the distiller goes into the fermenter, making the final potencies like so:
God Wheat, Earthy, Soul + 2
White Knight, Savoury, Soul + 3
Klaphat Sample, Sweet, Energy + 5

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
