Typewriter effect in texts is extremely annoying

I can't play games any more that do this excruciatingly slow letter-by-letter typing out of dialogues that I am reading 10x faster than they are appearing on screen. I've had it with adventure games doing this despite every player hating it. You don't even allow players to make all the text appear at once with a left mouse click. All that does is make the letter by letter typewriter effect go a little faster. Your demo is unplayable like this for me regardless of whatever other merits your game might have.

Have you considered giving the exact same feedback without the extra dose of smugness and the rant about your personal preferences on games that mostly is of little to no consequence to anyone?

Using adjectives like "excruciatingly" unironically, going on tangent about "I´ve had it with so and so" and claiming everyone thinks like you do and saying stuff like "this is unplayabale for me", probably while you picture thunder dramatically striking on the background as you do, is not smug
