Where to find some items?

Hey! I’m working on recruiting more cats/fulfilling tasks and I’m having trouble finding:
- Rats
- Mackerel
- Blackberries
- Snakes
If anyone could tell me here I can find these things I would be so grateful! <3 Also if there’s a guide out there that lists where to find things let me know, it’s really hard to google guides for this new game because mostly ones from the old game come up.

- I haven't found rats super often, but i think i've found them, most often, near the marsh.
- Mackerels can be found in the ocean. They're rarer but definitely possible to find. :)
- I've yet to find blackberries; i think they only grown in fall. I did manage to buy some from one of the shops -- i think it was the task board shop?
- I tend to find snakes around the beach/island-like area
Also keep a look out for rarer items in festival shops! I've been able to recruit cats faster because of that :) Also, if your cat's birthday is coming up and they've got 2 stars with a few cats, you're probably gonna get some helpful gifts!

snakes are most common in the volcano area i think, mostly in the most bottom-right tile

rats i usually get through the mines

I just found a rat in "The Grim Clearing" during winter, and in Northrend Waste.
