I really appreciate the effor man, but i'm really bad using the controller on that way. I don't know, it feels... not natural to me.
Maybe i'm just too picky, but again, native controller support for this game and a good configuration really would be a highly better experience and a huge difference.
Cheers
I remember when Blade and Soul ungraded their engine and removed the controller support they had in it for years. It took them an entire year and a half to re-implement it and a few users said it wouldn't have taken no more than a few days at most to do so.
Just goes to show how native PC players tend to be treated when it comes to desiring to play with a controller instead of keyboard and mouse
Completly agree, i can't understand why devs when comes to pc always treat the gamepad (spcecially on shooters) like something irrelevant. I remember too when Mass effect came out on PC with no controller support. I mean something they made it first exclusive for console was removed, only with the excuse that pc experience enjoys better with k/m. No sense at all.
I guess the eternal debate if k/m or controller is best for PC alway gonna be attached if the game comes out on console or not, wich i think is completly unfair, because you can program a good controller configuration just for pc, even better than consoles. Not without mention that on competive shooter ambient console only works thanks to the aim assist (wich i hate by the way).
Right now i'm enjoying a shooter pvp port mobile called combat master. Low end graphics, not too many maps and games modes, 2GB space, but fun as hell, mostly for me because the controller support is awesome! Could be better obviously, but It feels smooth, no aim assist, just you and your sense on the sticks and triggers. I'm not a pro player but enough average to spend a fun time.
So if a game like that can do a really good controller support exclusive for pc, why others can't.
I guess we gonna wait long time to see k/m and controller equal rights on pc development... mainly because most people still think that make a pc game with controller support means console, and trust me, that's something far for being true.
Cheers
Hey thank you so much for this setup. It takes some getting use and knowing what button does what beyond just the basic aiming and shooting. But it has made playing Undawn sooo much better on PC. The alt key switching between controller and mouse is amazing. Again thank you!
