I played the game and..

I played the game (PC version) and I will say that it is like when you install an android game on a PC through an android emulator - disgusting controls, disgusting interface, you constantly need to hide and show the cursor (this should not happen on PC gaming at all!).

The PC version doesn't feel like a PC game at all. That's what I want to say.

The next thing I noticed, Undawn has a lot of similarities to Lifeafter, and the similarities are everywhere and they are big, from character creation to inventory. I understand that copying one game from another is, in principle, the norm today, but not to such a level of identity :)

Enemies in the game are mostly killed with 1 shotgun shot, there are bosses and mini-bosses or elite zombies that take longer to kill, but none of them are able to kill you with ease - the game is very casual in this regard, but I get it from its functionality the impression that the game wants to be a "survivor" but it's too easy to survive that way.

In general, if a PC game is made more complex (more merciless to the player) and removes mobile controls, removes the mobile interface (mobile buttons, tap mentions, etc.), improves graphics (basically, you need to improve the quality of textures), add a FOV slider to graphics settings, etc.

Then the game will be very interesting!

I agree, but you are playing closed beta. I believe these will be fixed close to the game release and yes there are many similarities with lifeafter it's a bit annoying

Mucha gente dejo de jugar Lifeafter porque prácticamente se hizo exclusivamente p2w los que estamos probando este es precisamente por eso, por el parecido con ese juego ya que lo arruinó la ambición de netease y tenemos esperanza que esté no sea tan descarado.

I think that the developers from Tencent will not disdain donations. They are making money this way.

I installed Undawn on my PC. My game play session lasted about 15 mins. The movement/action controls were just awful. Emulator stuff is garbage. I spent another 15 mins trying to uninstall the game (No uninstall app option for Undawn in windows) Had to manually go into the game directory and uninstall via program.

Yea - I get that it is a beta - But can't really play it at all - with the current mess of controls.

If it took you 15 minutes to find and delete a folder & a shortcut, you need to reevaluate your computer skills ;P

I too tried to remember which game this reminded me of and had to search for it.

Also the funny thing is, at least this company is trying to open up their market to a wider audience instead of locking it onto a mobile game. Lifeafter has been leaving money on the table for a long while now.

Hey Phil,
I’m intrested in this game, looks good and all. However a few questions some major and others just curious.
1- where on the earths core is the advertisement for this game and only 5 days left till its out?
2- what is this game about, ie- is it just a 7 days to die or a Minecraft, can you just explore loot, survive or is it a rush to gather as much as possible and build base before major enemies spawn and attack.
3- what’s the paid content gonna look like- is it steep or is it normal prices, maybe gosh is it nice and only a few $ here and there.
4- what’s the vision like throughout the time your gonna develop the game, im not really into putting hours into something that dont have a vision and flies towards the bad end of gaming
5- like my main point im intrested but gosh how do you think its gonna be popular if not advertised at all, i can try push the word around but can you whip together a video explaining this game or gosh write a whole letter blog quickly bullet points about the game.
The whole thing looks good, dont expect a state of decay 2 or a red dead graphics but this looks good, and im intrested but have no clue what’s it about and i feel that will ruin it for me.
Pls dont say go discord channel, i have discord but its a shocker for advertisement these days and expand it. Also if yes fair game discord is key for you and the team, how is negative feedback and your response to that- im not talking about beyond horrible death threats but maybe slating things or complaining about things, hows that feedback taken.
Hope this helps give reason and thought and maybe get back if you can to explain
