why do people cheer on p2w players getting top ranks?

i mean, i find it kind of funny and sad at the same time, that when a p2w trash wins an event or shows off their shiny weapons, people say "omg wow gratz haha nice bro" when all they did was enter their credit card details and literally buy the best position/upgrade.

People get used to P2W as longer it is common, like people get used to nearly everything and forget how it was before

Yup agree half the players just purchase the top weapons and armour etc, whereas the free players earn it the hard way

Honest answer? Only the pay2win players can carry weak F2P players that never do the events to get upgrade materials to the end of harder content. So they get the praise as they literally let the weakest players continue to play.

Yes, you would likely consider me P2W, I haven't spent that much on the game honestly, about $250 at this point give or take. Which pales in comparison with the people at the very top, which one of them reports to have over 25 grand on the game. I just play EVERY day and do ALL the events for upgrade materials and fill in the gaps (usually polishing materials) with cash shop stuff to upgrade further. (Within reason.)

I dont pay anything, im happy just free to play, i do the best I can with upgrade meterials, polishing etc. I find i do better at Aeronautical base (Capture the flag) than player v player,
although one time i did get the UNSTOPPABLE award in PVP, which surprised me.
I may no do top damage but i do ok in pvp

I am F2P and came in the top 16 team in Elite Eliminator (PVP).
Even whales can be taken down with a sticky grenade followed by head shots.

BUT I will admit that in PVE it is VERY P2W.

Most mobile players have never played a real game or ones that take skill. Some of they are really unique thinking every game is P2W even SP lol.

I would never pay more for a F2P game as for a full price game. Because its not worth and as long as the people pay, the companies have right and produce even more P2W games and systems.

I prefer to just play at my own rate. I still do PVP but i dont care if i get blasted and people think im weak, their paying to win im not its a huge difference, i just like to enjoy the Aero base, Camp Competitions and PVP aspect of the game!

I was in a Diablo Immortal FB group and some Filipino guy was clowning on me for being 'poor'. The whole group was a bunch of whales saying that p2w is normal and it saves them time and ppl who can't pay should just be grateful that they get to play at all.

I get that you don't like that I'm significantly stronger than you because I spent some money on the game. I can totally understand that. Ideally we should be getting stronger through gameplay alone. But thats how the game works.

In the PVP i usually get the "Puny, just puny" no wonder if their Paying2win and i just want the F2P option. Im trying my best with free2play, i am already level 70 and my homestead can go to 10F max so been doing my best so considering F2P i wouldnt say i am PUNY.
i down other players in the AERO base and Capture the flag and Camp competitions and even get MVP of the match sometimes
