TRYING THE DEMO: Which starter deck should I buy for a newbie?

I haven't played CFV for many many years. I played for about 1 year when the game first came out and the best decks were Royal Paladin, OTT and Kagero. I quit just as Gold Paladin came out.

Looking at the 5 decks, unfortunately, none have this type but all new types. I suspect there will be loads of new mechanics I will pick up, so I want it to be easy as possible as I learn slowly.

So out of the 5 decks at the in-game store on the demo, which should I get?

(NOTE: Yes, i'm well aware CFV DD2 is coming out soon. I am trying the demo for this game, just to see how much the game has changed and how fun it is, so gauge whether I will buy CFV DD2.)

well, the Nirvana deck (Dragon Empire) tends to be easy to pilot, but the Seraph deck (Brandt Gate) is pretty powerful on it's own right, being able to always triple drive once you get a few cards imprisoned.

just so u know in standard (the new format) they changed it so u build a deck around a nation not clans anymore. and nations existed before the only thing is they renamed them so royal paladin was united sanctuary now its called keter sanctuary, kagero was and is still dragon empire so u can kinda get the nations somehow kept the playstyles of clans from before maybe that helps to choose your fav one
and btw majesty lord blaster and dragonic overlord are also in the full game later if u buy dd2 and u can build decks around old units

You should give Bastion a shot, easy magic numbers that make hard for the IA to properly guard and probably the best starter out of the 5 at release.
