they still need to sell physical product, the only time a game was up to date with its tcg is in the case of pokemon & for like one month after the update of legacy of the duelist: link evolution. even master duel is half a year or more behind.

the reason things like this can take longer is because not only are they adding new cards they are having to squash any bugs caused by generic effects that were enabled by any amount of spaghetti code that has been used. in addition we don't know if DLC is all they've been working on. It's very possible they've also been working on a deck building update to release at the same time as the DLC or even something else. Personally I hope they've been working on some more story because I think It'd be nice to see how Yuki and the others reacted to the events of will+dress with the uniformers.

Honestly, I have no idea why they gave us only a bit of set 11.

it seems a little weird, they announce it as an additional "Special set", which means are they not planning to do an expansion pass this time around? are they just going to periodically release "special sets" i guess?

Someone said it was crossover cards, but like, we know we aren't getting the EX crossover cards, the other cards i looked at on the wiki page don't seem to have any correlation to any kind of crossover insofar as I can tell... Sucks they can't get the licensing to do crossovers tho, but I'm guessing that might be one of the reasons vanguard zero had to shut down if licenses expired or something.

D-BT11 contain a LOT of collab cards those'll never available in DD due to license reasons such as BangDream , Mushiking bla bla bla. It's the same case as Monster Strike and Token Ranbu (from the past format in Vanguard EX)

i get that, but it's cutting out core cards, not just the EX cards
