I think we get everything up to set 13, but after that is pretty questionable. I would say that definitely anything post the rule change/energy would be an entirely new game because it would just be easier to build the game from the ground up than try to incorporate it into the current game.
I mean they don't even want to update NPC's decks, imagine trying to add entirely new systems...
That said, I'd be pretty content to get all the stuff before the rule change switches, or even if its just up to set 13 (although I really would like that halloween lyrical set added too)
I agree and you're probably right. I am banking on the minority probability that they somehow incorporate the new mechanic in the new game. DD is the most I've spent on any game and it's worth it. I just don't know if I can shell out that kind of money for a different game.
Moreover having to play two different game feels clunky. At that point, I assume many people will stick to the new version rather than the old one. Moreover, what about those players who want to combine old standard cards from the overdress era with the DivineZ era?
As plausible as it seems to create a new game, I think it will severely fragment the payer base and will limit deck building possibilities (unless they include the entire card library of DD into the new game, at which point, why tf did we pay for a different game if everything was set to migrate to a new version of the game anyway?!
I hate speculations. Hopefully, Furyu has a solid plan in the works that preserves the integrity of the old game while welcoming the new era of Vanguard.
To be honest, nobody knows. BECAUSE THEY CAN'T BOTHER TO POST PATCH NOTES.
Although I really do think it my be prep-work for future DLC in light of that, they usually at least say something on the website by now if it was just fixes
At least bother with patch notes, if not on steam, please freaking do so on your official website.
You'd think that the people willing to pay the price for the game and all the DLC would be treated a little better... I love the game, don't get me wrong, but man do they give zero ♥♥♥♥♥ about their consumers.
edit: Oh, I'm sorry. They *DID* share the road map. At the end of November. When the JP side had it up since June.
The roadmap I'm talking about it moot now because the current one is complete for now. It's on the dear days website
This was the roadmap for expansion pass 2... ...posted many months too late for us on that site.
with a bit of pattern recognition, the delay between the Chronojet Deckset and Set 8 coming out was around a month. so...
We might be expecting something big soon...
Hopefully so

I mean, just because they say that's what happened, that doesn't mean it's the only thing that happened. It's just what they want us to know. I don't think a few bug fixes require a 5 gigs patch.
Also the fact that they are still updating the game is a good sign on its own in my book, so lets hope this was a set up for the remaining packs to be added.
