It would also mean the Start Decks given at the start would be nulled as you can't use the deck as-is with the new deckbuilding rules.
This would also mean adding in mechanics such as Energy Generator Crests and Divine Skills.
And let's face it, I don't exactly trust the devs with being able to do such a feat.
But yeah, we'ld likely not see any DZ support unless the devs pretty much remake the whole game with that in mind.
what I COULD see as an option is them pretty much slapping a brand new game on top of this one and labelling it as a DLC. With an option to toggle between D and DZ rulesets, with said DZ ruleset technically being a new game.
I would expect, maybe after two cours of DivineZ or so, that we'll get a new game, and it would allow you to carry over your card collection from Dear Days over to it.
Now from what has been revealed, this post here explains a couple things being added in DZ.
New Deckbuilding rules:
Your Main Deck consists of 50 cards, with 16 of them being trigger units. Accompanying that, your Ride Deck is a separate set of 4 to 6 cards, consisting of a grade 0, grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3 normal unit. You may also include a <Ride Deck Crest> in your Ride Deck. Of course, some decks have a different use for the Ride Deck (read: Griphogila), but Over Triggers that are in the Ride Deck still count towards the 16 Trigger Unit count.
New Mechanics:
Ride Deck Crest: "Energy Generator"
Coming with the new Starter Decks is the first Ride Deck Crest. It is played when you "Ride" a card over your vanguard normally (read: not superior riding). From there, every one of your ride phases, you [Energy-Charge 3], you can have a maximum of up to 10 Energy Counters at a time. These Energy Counters are used to activate skills that have an [Energy Blast] cost. The Crest itself also has a 1/Turn [ACT] skill of [Energy Blast 7]: Draw 1 Card.
Any existing deck can utilise this Crest. This crest can also be played along with decks that utilise Crests (Such as Chronojet, Messiah, Shiranui, Luard, and other collab decks). The only real restriction is that you can only have the one <Ride Deck Crest> in your Ride deck.
Also, yes, even Griphogila can use the crest, it's gained upon superior ridding Griphogila.
Divine Skill.
From the what little details are shown, Divine Skills are powerful skills that can only be used once per Fight. It's currently not known what these skills entail, but it's assumed that they may be used at a pivot-able moment of the cardfight.
As of now, only Six units are confirmed to possess a Divine Skill:
Fated One of Unparalleled, Varga Dragres (Dragon Empire)
Fated One of Zero, Blangdmire (Dark States)
Fated One of Guiding Star, Welstra "Blitz Arms" (Brandt Gate)
Fated One of Miracles, Rezael (Keter Sanctuary)
Fated One of Taboo, ZorgaNadir (Stoicheia)
Fated One of Ever-changing, Krysrain (Lyrical Monasterio)
Set releases:
Currently in Japan, they have set release dates for the DZ product line, starting on January 19th, is the release of the DZ Starter Decks. From the contents, most of the deck is supposedly "Vanilla", with the only cards with major abilities being the main grade 3 Unit and the Perfect guard. Packed in are also a promo reprint of one of the three Effect triggers matching the respective nation. The second promo is an early release of the new Regular Perfect Guards, with a chance of it being Elementaria Sanctitude.
on the 9th of February, is the release of DZ set 1. It is confirmed that four of the SSRs are Varga Drages, Welstra "Blitz Arms", Rezael, and Krysrain.
Along with that, there will be the new Perfect Guards that can show up in a starter deck, new Trigger Units that are Nationless, and Reprints of eight Over Triggers, specifically Dragveda, Gallmageheld, Eldobreath, Amartinoa, Blessfavor, Catrina, Valnout, and Idosfaro.
And yes, starting from DZ set 1, all six regular nations are getting support.
April 5th will be the Japanese release date for DZ set 2, so far, the only confirmed cards in it are Blangdmire and ZorgaNadir.
At the current moment, the only news of EN DZ products is that we're getting the Starter decks on April 19th.
More Information may be shown this coming weekend, I'll try to keep ye lot posted.

Not being familiar with physical vanguard as far as I can tell these are all packs/decks up to SS11
Special Set 5 (Festival Booster 2023) has the new Over Triggers, along with some additional cards for all nations, and also Lyrical Monasterio support for primarily the ridelines from the first Lyrical booster.
Special Sets 9 and 10 (Stride Decksets: Shiranui, Luard) are pretty much guaranteed to likely be last.
Special set 11 (Triple Drive Booster), might end up similar to special sets 6 through 8 and be mashed with maybe set 13. Funny thing here, that Triple Drive Booster is Special set 12 EN because EN had the semi-exclusive "Malevolent Masques" supply set (which only included two copies of Masque of Hydragrum).
Sets 11 through 13 are also guaranteed, maybe a few cards from the special sets may be mashed into these sets.
You also forgot Lyrical Set 4.
If anything, the game will remain a snapshot of how the game was before the rule change.
As one guy I encountered stated, at least it'll end better then how Vanguard EX did, getting no updates, and ending with an extra booster with Megacolony support.
