What I get from base game?

If I buy base game, will I get ALL (starter)cards instantly? or do I have to buy packs separately.
In same way, If I buy DLC set, it say "unlock set", does it mean only unlocking set for purchase and I have to buy it with game currency?

I had play Vanguard looooong time ago. Since my local card players gone extincted, online play in digital age is only option. I am interested to play Vanguard again.
My last deck is Union-something (Duo Vanguard).

Getting the game doesn't unlock all the cards. You'll only have access to the cards included in the starter decks. You'll have to buy packs to get the remaining cards.

If you buy DLCS, you unlock the set. Then you have to play games to earn VC and use it to buy boosters.

Tip: If you want to buy the expansions, it's best to get the pass because it's cheaper than buying them individually.
