Don't be fooled by live service game trends; those numbers are always propped up by F2P mechanics and don't necessarily indicate player Outlook. I mean just look at Elden Ring. Does that mean it's a bad game?
As long as the new set DLC pushes through, this isn't a problem.
There's nothing to worry about, it's a 2 player game and the ranked queue will match you against what seems to be literally anyone. If fighting games have taught us anything, even if people jump ship with ranked, there will always be discords to find matches anyway.
The game will not die until the next game in the series replaces it, and even then it might not depending on how much people like that new format.
Yes, though for Dear Days, there is a bit of an issue with the actual number of players itself. Elden Ring currently has like a 24 hour peak of 30k, Dear Days has a 24 hour peak of 495. If it gets too low, proportions stop mattering as the actual number begins mattering more.
I've actually had some issues getting matched the last time I played. Took a good 5 minutes. I really hope this game ends up having a sale soon that can hopefully boost player count.
oh wow thanks! i didnt know that :) thanks for sharing!
hope player base will go up once first pack update hit but I doubt it
It doesn't hurt that Yuki's VA is doing online fan fights either, Dear Days online is probably going to break that day (I forgot the exact date)
