i have tried to change some of the settings based on the specs online on the dji website and from this video of an older version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34mynP-2ngM
i think the main settings are to get the weight, prop size, and some of the other resistance settings. ive only got 10 hours in tryp so i havent taken my avata 2 in manual mode yet since i dont want to crash, but some of the settings in the video help with how responsive it is in sport mode at least with the fpv controller 3.
i feel like im almost ready to go full manual soon.
Center Sensitivity: 150
Maximum Rate: 540 (roll and pitch). Yaw at 360.
Expo 0.5
Once I had learned about rates and changing them to match more of what my brain and skill level needed, I instantly became a much better pilot than previous.
You can even experiment with these to see what they do for yourself. For example, move everything to zero. Go change center sensitivity to 100, and go see how it flies for 5-10 minutes. Then up it to 500, check again. Now add in some maximum rotation. Try 360. This equates to 1 rotation per second. Fly around more to let your brain process the changes. Slowly you will figure out what rates work best for you - and it'll directly translate to flying your Avata 2 IRL. At least it did for me.
it was only after my 2nd flight to...

The first one is out of the box drone, the second is after modifying it with the Axis Flying kit
These builds are as is, PID are default ones, and they need to be tweaked to better correspond to reality because the actual physics model don't take in consideration prop guards.

These builds have been shared on our Discord. Feel free to join it if you want to propose some enhancements to it, and good fly to all!
I dont get it how du Customize my DJI avata 1.
Same thing for me ! If someone has the settings for Avata 2 with new interface it would be very appreciated !

This is already a big help, but I think the DJI Neo is a much more approachable drone for people. Especially to learn Acro. Any chance we see these kinds of drones back. Because it's more of a tinywhoop, and I don't think those are in TrypFPV.
That said, the simulator is a blast and hope you guys will support it for a long time.
