Performance on Steam deck?
The game looks great. Are the controls compatible with the Steam deck?

Hey!
I have not played it myself on a Steamdeck but I have friends with Steam Decks that have played it and it has worked.

However It does not have cloud saves so if you intend to play on steamdeck, keep that in mind :)

EDIT:** Added clouds saves but I am not sure they work on steamdeck, will test when I get my steamdeck in a couple of weeks **

I have played it for about an hour and it performs well. The text of the printouts and terminal screens is honestly too small to read on the 'deck, though. A 'zoom' would be welcome.

I can look into removing the blurr/bloom of the computer screens for steam-decks, I think that will help. I do that for chinese localization.

Might be able to make the text on printouts atleast crisper, I know that on really low graphical settings those texts can be hard to see.

I´m getting a steam-deck in a couple of weeks and will test then. Will also see if I can borrow one before that.

When you play it on a steamdeck, what graphics settings is it running on?

Is "zoom" a common thing for steamdecks?

It picked the high by default. Think it was called high, the third preset.

Pretty sure you’re right about removing the bloom/blur, the radio menu text is no smaller but is easy to read but the monitors in game are hard.

Printouts and the e-readers/tablets could use larger text or getting closer to the camera.

Ah, yeah maybe the easiest sollution is to move camera closer or tweak the fov.
I´ll look into it. Thanks!

I also have played the game on Steam Deck and can confirm that the text on printouts and e-readers is very hard to read.
Tweaking the FOV to make the text area fill the whole screen sounds like a great idea :MHRISE_OK:

Other than that the game runs fantastic on Steam Deck - atmospheric fog, screen reflections and crisp textures in silky smooth 60 FPS. Thank you for a wonderful game, Joakim! :MHRISE_happy:

Ah, thanks for reporting! I will have a look at it when I get my steamdeck. I hope to be able to make some custom stuff to help steamdeck player so its easier to read the texts.

Glad to hear it :) Thank you! //Joakim

The great atmosphere comes through even on the 'deck's screen. Thanks! Can't wait!

Hey!

Have added basically this in the latest update :)

In settings - general - zoom

Hope it helps steamdeck players and folks in general that find it hard to read the texts.

Hey!

Thank you! Hope it´s to your liking!

Also I´m soon getting the steamdeck, maybe next week. So I can finally play trough the game on the deck myself.
Hoping to make custom settings for the steamdeck, ie the best possible graphics settings and zoom mode auto-activated.
