A year ago or more, we sent Epic an alpha, and they loved it. It was the first time we'd shared and received feedback on the game, so it was quite the morale booster for the team. They have a program where there's a kind of "game of the week" on the storefront. We were offered to take part in it for modest compensation, which was an exciting prospect for us, as they typically reach quite a large number of players with this. And we want nothing more than to bring our game to as many people as possible. It's for a very limited time, though.

Game development is a tough business (especially now). We’re hoping to reach a massive audience who will become champions for the game and help it spread through word of mouth, ultimately driving sales.

We hope fans will support us so that we can finance our next title, as our ambition is to build a franchise of truly crazy and ambitious games. 😊 Deliver At All Costs is just the beginning, we have something even crazier in the pipeline, though we’re many years away from that. 🤫

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. If they give it away for free on other platforms, why are they charging for it here?

is this true? make no sense but i am happy to hear
This makes no sense but that's what the Konami website say :

Free on Epic Games Store

Deliver At All Costs will be made available for free via the Epic Games Store. Players should wishlist now to be notified when the game becomes available to download for free, as they will only have one week after release to redeem this opportunity.
No thanks

Because Epic games pay out. They need the advertising, and that's the best way to do it. With free games.

Nice scam, I hope the developers will shutting down after this
Even though they are giving the game away for free, if you're still not satisfied and label people as scammers, that makes you one of the bad people we see on the streets and in the news every day. Keep your hatred away from those who create something good.

Epic simply guarantees them money, and they have decided to take it, probably because they think that this game will sell very poorly (and the "high" price doesn't help). On the commercial side it's suicide, basically by doing so they have given up on all or almost all the sales on PC, and the visibility they get will last very little (as we already saw with CYGNI last summer), expecially because we are talking about the useless Epic Store.

Devs never learn when it comes to Epic, uh? Brilliant minds that can code amazing games and yet they get screwed over by Epic. Hahahaha. Oh, boy.
Amazing, have no issues with Epic, free is free:rl2shrug:. The money i would spend on this is going to another game, nice:lunar2019grinningpig:.
