Probably because they use XBox Live and PSN servers for the console versions. They would have had to make some changes for the PC version in order to allow online multiplayer. That, my friend, sounds too much like work to expect it from this lazy studio.
You're charging $40 for a 10 year old game and there's NO online co-op?! Come on! Is One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 the only PC Warriors game with half-way decent online?!
And no, Remote Play does not cut it.
smh
Your loss, having tons of fun.
You'd think, but I've been enjoying this game for like 6+ years on my ps4&5. I still play it to this day cause there's just so much content lol.
It's disappointing how they proclaim this as being the definitive edition, but its not really that, shame.
I'll probably pick this up at a huge discount but only because this version has something i don't have on console, and that's the toukiden costumes lol. I'm baffled as to why they left out sophitia's dlc costume in this version of the game.
My guess would be it's a licensing issue, and that DLC deal probably gave a cut to the IP holder.
