What DOES a Trimp look like?

I didn't see any fan art submissions, so now I'm curious what a Trimp looks like to you?

Good question, maybe they're described in some of the lore/exposition... It's been a good while since I read any of it.

Going with my gut, they look like imps.

In my mind, they look like some kind of mishmash of smurf's and discworld imps.
Smurf's due to them being blue according to zone 300, cell 50 storytext, and DW imps as those books were good reads IMO and I remember the Imps from them really well.

Okay, so the lore does have at least SOME descriptions of them. Might have to spend 10 minutes reading it all to see if we have anything else to go on.

Okay.

"one of your Trimps runs up to you with outstretched arms, looking quite frightened."

They have arms and emotive faces. They can run.

"You figure some entertainment wouldn't be awful, and decide to teach your Trimps how to play soccer."

They have the kind of physiology that it made sense to try and teach them football, so I think that so far they're probably anthropomorphic.

"You watch in amazement as a Trimp grabs on to one of those weird tree things and swings around by its arms. These things are getting pretty strong."

Definitely getting monkey like vibes.

I got up to zone 230 for now. I might come back and pull out more descriptions from the story later... But it really does seem like they're something like a classic goblin or imp from various fictional IPs. Warcraft comes to mind for me!

I remember seeing some fan art on the r/Trimps subreddit, I think the most recent one is a couple months back now, but it's there if you want to go digging.

Well, I believe this is the picture you're referring to.

It's cool, but I don't think I vibe with this particular presentation of the Trimps.

To me they're like scary strong looking, like chimps... Not cute bunny aliens.
