Another I can highly recommend, though it's not really an Idle game, more an incremental game, as you can always do something to actively progress. Game is called Orb of Creation, and it's brutally addictive. I suggest directly going to the beta branch, it's the current Version of the game after big changes, so Savegames aren't compatible, but the beta branch is the future way. Extremely intricate ways of progress, with many different mechanics all affecting each other. Since you don't have real idle times, end of content can be reached relatively quick, like 40, 50 hours of active playing.
One I loved for a good while is Idle Wizard, currently nearing End of Content there after thousands of hours (has been running for years), it now is really really slow, but the beginning is awesome once you open up the challenges and different classes.
Magic Research Idle is cool as well, requires active play as well with the occasional jump if you leave it on overnight. Nice story and mechanics, also finished in a few weeks if you keep at it.
Increlution is an amazing game with a unique twist on the mechanics as it's purely story-based, highly recommended but requires regular active play.
Finally Farmer Against Potatoes Idle, as well as Wizard and Minion Idle are behemoths when it comes to Idle Games, they are sloooooooow and take forever. Both have interesting stuff in them, but you'll never complete them or their achievements, they need to run for decades it feels like :D
Absolutely NOT recommended is Territory Idle. Uninteresting mechanics, no real automation options, endless repetition without anything changing. The one game where I save-edited to see if anything interesting happens later on, but no, nothing changes, it's just a boring grind and would take ages if done legit.
Whoa! Thanks for sharing your experiences :) Really enjoying unnamed space, like I said, but I think I like your description of Orb of Creation. I'm going to check it out :)

Unsuspected depth and pleasure in this game. To try, it's very good

Extremely slow to start but I love the Forgotten Realms universe and there's a ton of XP stuff, characters to unlock, etc.
You can create great team synergies

I play it periodically. according to my moods. This is the list of those that I prefer among many others^^
Cool, I'm the same with incrementals and moods, but usually I play them for a year or so then stop!
