And liquification[trimps.fandom.com] is apparently safe (probably not if the first cell of a zone is a living enemy). Although that one is more of a long term solution.
Another trick is to wait until the configuration is easy. Some of them start small and die out leaving the whole field empty so you can safely pass through it until they respawn at a certain initial place few turns later. Some are even better and are localized so they after you pass though a small dangerous zone you are safe to progress further. But some are expanding heavily and fill almost all field, those are better ignored. So again, turn off autoattack, stop at the first cell and wait through the whole cycle to see what type of pattern you got. Choose the one that is easier, ignore those that are difficult (but make sure you still have maxed stacks when leaving difficult ones). Make sure you farm 200% attack bonus from maps so that you one-shot enemies and progress quickly when you need to progress.
It's not that difficult as long as you wait for a good easy pattern and use F and double M with Auto-attack off.
