Dark Essence

I managed to find some Dark Essence. I have no idea what it does. Where/when/how do I spend it? I'm so confused.

You spend it on Masteries, in the Mastery tab under All/Buildings/Jobs etc.

I would have probably never seen the mastery tab, it sits there like a ninja.

You would've noticed it one day, when you earn enough Dark Essence to purchase a Mastery, the alert that is displayed is very hard to miss :)

Yeah, I tend to not see a lot of stuff in games, but once that giant yellow exclamation mark appears, the mastery tab is impossible to miss.

Masteries are great to boost your stats in different areas. I'm up to my 8th row of Masteries.
