Best modifiers for spire cores.
Anyone have any ideas what modifiers are best for cores?

I have currently unlocked all the towers and traps at HZE 561 and I'm running an epic core with condenser damage, poison trap damage and fire trap damage.
If I were to guess I'd think the ideal core at this stage for me has lightning damage, fire trap damage and lastly runestone drop rate. Once I get 4 slots I'd guess the best core would be something like lightning dmg > runestone > condensor > poison prioritized in that order. Anyone have any opinions on this? Does the best mods change as you progress and unlock new upgrades or is it more or less set from the get go?

Im thinking about runestone income, but if anyone has any ideas what to prioritize for high threat that would be appreciated as well.

According to this (fairly old) reddit thread it would be poison/condenser/runestone/lightning for a magnificent core.
I've no idea whether or not that's true for lower tiers. I personaly used the TD Calculator[swaqvalley.com] to see if a core would or wouldn't be an upgrade. Which is a lot harder once you start pumping spirestones into your core.

poison/condenser/runestone/lightning
This is still true for 4-mod cores.

For 3-mod cores, it depends. Initial rolls vary wildly, meaning some mods can be better than others simply due to the initial roll, so the calculator suggestion is good.

From my experience, condenser is extremely good, and runestone drop rate at high rolls as well. Then you're trying to get one of the other two as the third mod.

Thanks for your input :) I will aim for lightning dmg/condensor/runestone high rolls for now, and add poison once i get 4 slots
