This update really filled me with hope for the game

If they can just dedicate more resources towards development process and lower the price of the base game permanently, it could honestly revive the game as well as get more people interested.

Announcing that there will also be Shibuya DLC was a very good move.

It's already revived, compared to what it was before anyways. I'm not expecting a ton out of this game, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a new JJK game by the time season 3 is out.

But if I can be optimistic, I can see us getting the rest of the Kyoto students in free update 2 (Miwa, Mechamaru, Kamo).
Then the Shibuya DLC could be big and give us like 6 - 8 characters (Choso, Dagon, Kenjaku, Ressurected Toji (No spear, sharpened playful cloud ultimate), Shibuya arc Mahito (Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing), Shibuya arc Megumi (Rabbit escape, Mahoraga suicide ult), Uraume, Naobito)
Followed by one or two more free updates which give us Ino, Mei Mei, any of the previous 8 I mentioned who don't make it into the DLC, and maybe Kusakabe.
If the game actually goes into the culling games arc and we get CG Yuta, Hakari, etc. that would be super hype though

yea i think you might be too optimistic with culling games arc. They wouldn't add them until the anime catches up, which would be 2025-2026, and i doubt they'd wanna keep pouring resources into a game with barebones player count

Oh yeah the optimism ends after my predictions for a third free update. CG DLC is basically a copium pipe dream. I just want a version of Yuta who doesn't need team mates to die in order to be good
