Can you play online competitive with a friend

Is there anyway to invite a friend and play against other people online in 2v2s or is that not a thing

create a lobby, make it friends only, your friend joins, hold down the start button. if youre not on controller look in the bottom right adn hold that button down. have fun hating the game, its so bad

Yes, you go into online lobby in the main menu and create a lobby. The only setting that matters once you've clicked it is the member count, I keep it at 2 for my teammate and I. Once your in the lobby, invite your friend and go into the pause menu. Go into combat mode settings and choose whichever setting you want from ranked to co-op. Then exit back into the lobby and on the bottom right it should say something like "go into combat", hold that button down and your in.
