Is the game actually that bad?

Thinking about buying to play with a friend, maybe go online casually. Had some fun in one's justice but it lost its magic after a while (playing competitively got painful tbh)

it feels awful, the only combos you can really do are the auto combo bound to X/square, the animations are pretty jank and the overall movement feels trash, but if you're looking for a mindless arena fighter to play for a while, then you'll probably enjoy this

nah in all honesty I've enjoyed some really ass games before, so it all comes down to personal preference

i won't refund is what i expected, except bc of the slow motion gameplay when matched agains ppl with a ♥♥♥♥ pc or internet

the combos can be mixed between the basic buttons if you didnt realize and your curse energy levels and other stuff changes your combos and how they work. if after this information you think you still just press the same button over and over u r just not playing the game right and are bad at it. but if you just dont like the combat that makes sense, you dont have to like everything but saying theres no mix ups or anything is a straight lie lol

also you forgot theres actually three different buttons for combos not just two lol

I'd say its really fun, despite what some people are saying here, there are a lot of combos you can do. it is day one so be wary of OP characters
