Side Quest Cloudform Tai chi

So apparently if you enter into the sect now you get a sidequest about the forbidden ground, which requires to be versed in Tai Chi or Tai Chi Swordplay and the cultivation methods of your sect.

Honestly i have all of them and still doesn't allow me to pass, any idea?

do you mean you can't proceed with the tai ji image or you can't beat the illusion? to proceed u have to max tai ji sword and tai ji at lvl 10. then beat the illusion. then remember to bring yan wei huan for extra dialogue when u leave the training ground. Remember to heal yourself up because you be ready to spar a challenge between two strongest fist tai chi and 18 dragon palms. This also the only legit way for Yan wei huan to learn Tai Chi red skill.

How did you get the side quest i got both Tai chi and Tai chi sword play to max?

the sidequest didn't trigger for me until after the story event where Qingxu teaches you one of those skills, then one of the other masters tells you about the trial as you leave Wudang.

i found out you unlock the side quest later in the Main story

at least one of tai chi fist/sword and all wudang neigong/inner art has to be maxed out i think.

Any help appreciated. I'm stuck here too. I have the quest. I have lvl 10 Tai Chi Swordplay, lvl 10 tai chi marvel force, lvl 10 infinite four symbols, lvl 10 guiyuan, lvl 10 wudang.

Has anyone solved this?

I had to max out Tai Chi (fist) and Tai Chi Swordplay (since sparring with shifu should give one)

From what I can tell, you have to have first started the Trip to Nanjiang quest. Then you have to have maxed out all of the sect's cultivation skills, and one of the Tai Chi attacks (Don't have to worry about maxing both out). Then one of the sect elders stops you and gives you the quest. After that you just walk into the forbidden area and walk towards the giant yin-yang symbol on the wall, which should trigger a cutscene. You may also have to approach the symbols to the side of the giant yin yang but that I'm not a 100% sure on.

I'm in the same situation. Can anyone confirm whether you need to max both Tai Chi and Tai Chi Swordplay? The text implies you only need one, yet my Yi still can't decipher the diagram.

Can confirm that you only need one mastered, you just have to walk up to the giant Taiji symbol in the back, basically touching it with your character model
