How good is the English translation?
A lot of games from our friends in the far East have horrible translations that just take me out of a game. This one looks awesome but I know I won't be able to keep playing if the translation sucks. So, how would you rate it on a scale from 1-10?

I haven't really noticed any issues. They even make regional phrases when talking. Outside of the names the dialogue feels western

This is quite well translated imo. It’s not like perfect, but it’s charming in the ways that final fantasy translations used to be. Definitely not a machine translation like some other games I’ve come across. It’s translation gives it personality

If it was a regular project I would say ~8/10. Has a few quirks and minor issues.

But as a chinese project it's an easy 10/10 and is among the very best chinese translated projects.

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for the kind words, it really means a lot to us that you appreciated our effort into the English translation!

That said, we are always looking to improve the localization, and are paying attention to any quirks and issues that may be present. Feel free to let us know if you see anything that stands out, and we will work on improving it :)

I find it pretty good!

If only other chinese translated games took some example from it.

Yeah it's really well done. Kudos to your group. Thanks for putting in the effort to keep us immersed into the world :)

Though there are some hiccups, but it's not too bad (like Shangguan Hong and Sima Ling talking about the 'state of no-self' when talking about the Baidi Whirling Sword philosophy. The better term is 'state of nothingness' I believe and is often the used term when talking about nothingness in terms of Buddhism and other eastern religions, which I know Daoism borrows a lot from). It doesn't bother me too much, but yeah.

Theres a few oddities but if you compared this to the average MTL or poorly translated wuxia comic or game from china it is amazing.

i think the translation is good, but the problem is most westerners dont understand chinese culture and wuxia/kung fu term/logic.

That is not that much of a Issue tough. Of course the Game becomes way more awesome if you are familiar with everything but even without it, you still have a good RPG.

The one Issue this Game has are the Eastern Names. The are hard to remember but of course not using them, would completly run the flair.

Usually in Novels i manage to remember the Name of the MC, his Girls and everyone else
who is currently important but every character who decides to be absent for 300+ Chapters should be afraid.

IT'S HARD.
