as for bringing Xun and Yan along with you compared to fighting him solo? there is literally no difference in the winning cutscenes or rewards gained.
for whatever reason they still haven't added any sort of differences to the cutscene when defeating Bai Weiyi solo in the second 24 turns duel or defeating him together with xun and yan.
nope absolutely no bonus affection. for whatever reason when defeating Bai alone in the duel the first time Xun and Yan for some reason appear behind Yi as though they were fighting him alongside Yi, and the devs for whatever reason haven't done anything about that, it's been like that since southern chronicles was first released.
this makes me think that perhaps the "canon story choice" Yi made was to fight Bai Weiyi together with Xun and Yan similar to how Yan losing the second "stay behind" fight against gao fuji and duan lushuang leads to a far cooler cutscene of him using skyborne dragon mastery for the first time rather than winning both duels.
but honestly i still hope they eventually add an actual different cutscene to Yi defeating Bai Weiyi alone.
