Can you continue playing after finishing the main quest?
Just curious to know if there's a postgame of sorts, even if a bit pointless, or if finishing the main quest also finishes your run.

there is no post game and once you start the last main quest the game locks you out of some areas. So just drop a save before starting the last quest and then you can go back. The new dlc might be postgame though (hopefully)

nope, current game ends at the Jade Dragon fight with no postgame content. as Dino_Fan said you should drop a save before the JD fight just in case.
Its not confirmed or directly stated at all but i think its sort of implied that the upcoming Eastern Seas DLC is post-JD so there might be new content after JD... maybe.

Oh? Eastern Seas is confirmed to be post-JD? Then that might entail extra content, yes. Nice, just in case will be making a few extra saves.

No it is not confirmed to be post JD. It is only speculation.

pure speculation eastern seas is post JD sadly, but it seems likely due to a few things like how Yi is in his red drip attire along with how Hong is prominently shown on the thumbnail of the DLC Trailer in her green secret ending outfit.

Man, don't give me hope. This is the kind of game that I could happily play for another hundred hours before growing even slightly tired of it.

I think having Hong with her Lady Lingbo outfit that is only seen in the credits is pretty much confirming that the DLC will happen after Helian Fubi fight. hopefully with the same save and not some unlockable gamemode kind of thing. you guys can @ later tho
